Greetings. I am an individual that possesses a genuine desire to provide for students struggling in mathematics and science the clarity needed to perform at exceptional academic levels. I currently hold an applied mathematics degree from NEIU and a substituting license for CPS. I've been privileged to stand before students ranging from 5 to 70 years of age, grade levels from kindergarten to college leveled platforms. Because of my reputation as a provider of clarity in math courses ranging from developmental math to Vector Calculus to NEIU students, I currently teach developmental mathematics at CCICS NEIU campus in the summer bridge program. During the fall semesters have I functioned as a teaching consultant at El Centro NEIU campus now for six years. During the public school year from September to June, I serve and have served as a substitute teacher in mathematics for CPS now for two years. Because success in Mathematics requires different measures of confidence, when standing before students do I aim to help them develop attitudes of confidence to conquer their fears of the monstrous mountain they've so long believed math to be. This happens only after students have gained courage to meet the challenges of mathematics. I know that success isn't gained easily on any level, but if anyone desires to excel academically, all they need are the resources to realize their desires. I am an incomparable resource that advocates increased learning in everyone and assert that without fail am I able to inspire anyone to like math that would otherwise loathe it. Its principles bleed into every area of life and if those principles are fully embraced, anyone can have just what they need to experience success which math guarantees.

Mathematics, as you know, bleeds into every area of life. It becomes my responsibility to communicate its concepts in a manner that promotes a change in how students perceive math. Although it's believed to be a monstrous mountain whose climb seems impossible, it's my objective to make it seem no more than a mole hill over which anyone can step. Teaching for CPS allows me space to do just that. The substituting assignments I accept require me to stand in the place of math teachers and communicate with clarity the simplicity of elementary math concepts to the degree that regular instructors call me to substitute for them quite frequently.

I've taught Algebra on both the middle school and college platforms. The students I've taught, require a thorough understanding of the basic rules of mathematics involving addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, negative and positive numbers, and order of operations in order to grasp hold the clarity I provide for them regarding Algebra. Success teaching Algebra I've experienced because I've dared to provide a perception of Algebra that leaves students with the confidence needed to master algebraic processes.

Algebra 2

Because I've studied math concepts ranging from basic mathematics to Vector Calculus, I've an in-depth familiarity with communicating with clarity those concepts to students ranging from 5 to 70 years of age, including Algebra 2. I've studied math concepts ranging from developmental math to Vector Calculus for 30 + years. I am equipped with extensive know-how to communicate with clarity the simplicities of geometry to anyone of age to learn its specifics.
Prealgebra,

Prealgebra

Pre-algebra, as you know, is a composition of elementary math concepts with an introduction of algebraic sprinkles. Thinking of Pre-algebra in these terms help to rid you of fears you may have concerning this new material.
Precalculus

Precalculus

Because I've a BA in applied mathematics, I'm extensively familiar with a wide variety of mathematical concepts, all of which I'm more than able to provide clarity for. My familiarity with Pre-Calculus stems from performing at (A) levels in College algebra and trigonometry. I'm currently in pursuit of a MA in Mathematics so I'll be qualified to teach on the university platform. Pre-Calculus can be considered the light cast into the unknown areas of mathematics providing brilliance enough to see just what an individual's next moves ought be towards continually experiencing a successful career.
