I was a safety and environmental technician for 7 years, teaching OSHA-related lectures on various industrial hazards. During that time I began taking ballroom dance lessons and later became an instructor. I taught ballroom dance for 4 years, which included preparing and taking students to competitions, teaching groups and individuals of varying backgrounds and skill levels, and most importantly, learning to communicate ideas in multiple ways to help students understand faster!

I went on two deployments with the Navy (I'm in the reserves), and after returning, I began to reconsider my career path. After looking into several different options, including secondary education and business, I decided that I wished to practice law. I still have a while before law school, so using this opportunity to help others beat the LSAT just seems logical to me.

I scored 152 on my first diagnostic test in March, and improved to a 175 on the official June LSAT-Flex. I gleaned information from multiple sources, lived through the process, and (at some level) came to enjoy the LSAT.

I don't think the LSAT has to be scary. It's a weird test, like nothing you've done before, but you can learn it. I'd be happy to help!

Great teacher!

He was very patient and nice. We went over a logic game that had caught me by surprise, but he helped me get a better understanding.

Excellent teacher! Very knowledgeable on LSAT

Micah is an excellent tutor for the LSAT!! He breaks down the logic games section step by step while giving you a visual diagram on how to complete the set up. He explains the strategy for completing the game so it is not too convoluted and helps to give you more of an efficient way of solving the questions. I highly recommend this tutor!

Great educator and extremely smart

Micah helped more understand the hardest section of the LSAT. He is very experienced with the LSAT and it shows through how he teaches. Great person to practice questions with. Very patient and works with you at your pace. Very likable tutor and easy to get along with.

Well rounded tutor

I started my studies using LSAT prep books. The books I had been using focused on quick tricks that only seemed to complicate things. From working with Micah, I have learned how to break down each stimulus and think of it as a whole rather than in terms of its “question type”. This approach feels more natural and has made me more confident in my ability to attack the questions on my own (without having to remember a 5 step process or an equation). Micah has also helped me with reading comprehension and logic games, and he has shown me how to study more effectively for the exam. If you are looking for a well rounded tutor, I recommend reaching out to Micah.

LSAT tutor

Micah has been very helpful in helping me develop my critical reading. I’ve started reading on my own with more depth. The help I’ve gotten from Micah has made the wrong answers stand out more clearly, narrowing the options and improving my PT scores.

10/10, INCREDIBLE! Patient, compassionate and flexible tutor!

I began working with Micah after the August 2020 LSAT-Flex. I was disappointed with my performance and needed someone to focus my mind and spirit again. Micah encouraged me and helped create a reasonable study plan for me to improve by the October LSAT-Flex. We intensely focused on logic games and my practice test scores improved GREATLY. Before, I had little grasp of the game methods, now I am able to attack practically every logic game. He is hands on and works from various angles to make sure his students find a method that works for them. As I approached the law school application process, Micah coached me extensively on writing a beautiful, crafted personal statement. He's read vast amounts of literature regarding the application process and knows which tips to provide without overwhelming his students. Regardless of what question I have or how last minutesI request a lesson, Micah is flexible and accommodating. He is always there to coach me academically, but also provides the necessary support to navigate the LSAT and law school admissions journey.
