Hello, I'm Michael! I completed my Masters in Mathematics at the University of Oklahoma in the Fall of 2017. For my undergraduate I double majored in Mathematics and Computer Science. My passion for these subjects was inspired by excellent professors that I've sought to emulate. Their clarity of exposition and commitment to their students' success was a major factor in my success and I have worked hard to continue that tradition with my students.

I began teaching as an undergraduate and now have over six years of teaching and tutoring experience. As an undergraduate I taught Algebra I and Algebra II in our developmental math program. This program was designed to help prepare students for college level mathematics. As a graduate student, I had the opportunity to teach and tutor Calculus, Linear Algebra, Differential Equations, Real Analysis, and Abstract Algebra. I believe Mathematics has an unfortunate reputation of being intimidating and difficult, but it can be improved with practice like any other skill. I strive to give the students confidence in their ability, and help identify the areas that need improvement.
Students success is my goal and as such I welcome any additional materials from students or parents. I am easy to reach through the Wyzant platform and always provide fast responses. Feel free to contact me if you have any additional questions or concerns. I look forward to working with you!
