My name is Cade, I'm from Austin, Texas and graduated from the University of Oklahoma in the summer of 2019. In high school I was very active on my debate team, eventually becoming one of the top teams in Texas my senior year. I also spent time as the captain of my high school debate team for the duration of my junior and senior years.
In college I debated only for my freshman year but was participating in the Open division in top tournaments across the nation. I majored in philosophy and got my minor in history. My focus in philosophy was on Ethics and Environmental Studies, whereas my focus in history was in American Civil War history and the history of race in the Western world
In high school I took and received college credit for AP Biology, Environmental Science, and Physics 1. While my major in college was philosophy, I focused in Environmental studies and took a few classes on ecology and environmental studies.
My 6 years spent as a debater has forced me to read a wide variety of literature ranging from 17th century Philosophy to modern literary bestsellers. I also received college credit for my AP English Language exam and received top scores in my Composition II class.
My minor was in history, I've always had a love for the subject and the way that historical events have impacted modern phenomena.
