Hello, My name is Jason. I graduated with a Bachelors and a Masters degree in Math, and a Masters in Accountancy. I have taught math from Pre-Algebra though Calculus at OCCC, OSU-OKC and OU. I have been tutoring math since 2001. I tutor students in basic math through Calculus. My tutoring sessions usually consist of doing homework problems or review sheets. Sometimes I teach the material if it is necessary. Let's set up a time to meet so we can do math. Hello, My name is Jason. Jason was very helpful. My son was having trouble with calculus. Jason walked him through classwork and helped him understand how to solve the problems. He was patient and friendly. Jason made my son feel comfortable with calculus (he had been feeling frustrated). I found Jason to be very flexible when it came to when/where to meet.
Jason got right down to business and knew exactly what we needed. He's incredibly knowledgeable and knows how to break the information down and properly teach. Thank goodness we found him.
I am recommending Jason W. for Calculus Tutoring. Jason's has an easy way with a tough subject. His pleasant manner and easy to understand presentation makes Calculus interesting. Jason's enthusiasm is contagious.
Without Jason's help, I would not have passed Calc I. He is very patient, his instruction was formatted in a way that I understood and he always tried to make himself available for tutoring before important tests and quizzes. Thank you Jason!
Jason is great! He is the best tutor I have ever had, he really knows his math.
My son used him for calculus and said no one had ever explained to him what calculus was. Jason did that and did a great job of teaching. He said he learned more in one lesson than he had learned in three weeks of classes.
In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
