I have 3 years of experience tutoring a variety of subjects but particularly math and ACT prep. I am currently taking advance Calculus courses at the university of Oklahoma as a high schooler and have extensive history teaching algebra 1 and 2. I have also achieved a perfect score on both the ACT Reading and ACT English section.

I aim to help every single one of my students not only understand how to do a problem but why the problem is done that way. I believe teaching why any problem whether math or ACT English and Reading is correct helps students retain information for longer periods of time. I hope to encourage all of my students to feel confident in subjects that they have previously struggled in.
I primarily specialize in teaching Algebra 1 and 2. As well as ACT Reading, English, and Math.

I have 3 years of tutoring experience particularly teaching Algebra 1 and 2. I have received an A in both Algebra 1 and 2. I have also received a 5 in AP calculus and will be able to explain topics with context of what students will need in future classes. I am currently taking differential and integral Calculus at the University of Oklahoma.

When I took the ACT I received a 34 on the math section. When studying for the ACT not only did I learn how to do every single commonly seen math problem on the ACT but also the tips and tricks needed to quickly improve your ACT math score and speed.

I received a 36 on both my ACT English and Reading section. I’m the process of doing so I learned the importance of learning not just the basic skills needed to do well on both sections but also the ins and outs needed to score high on the ACT English and Reading. I aim to teach all of my students to not only improve their score quickly but also how to stay engaged on test day. The ACT is a hard test for a number of reasons and in my lessons I teach how to improve speed, reading comprehension, and simply how to stay engaged during one of the longest tests most students have ever taken.
