With enough notice I am generally available from 0800 until 2300 Central time. I maintain a small library that I use it along with your material to adapt to the instructional system design that your rigors require. Often I employ a dry erase board for ostentation via an HD camera and a scanner for references in addition to proficiency with general reference searches. I encourage you to use a sound control device like a headset or ear piece due to the distraction.

My skills are derived from a diverse work history involving multiple trades and an ongoing pursuit of academic excellence. I was recognized by several honor societies and student organizations while in school, and I am eager to find an opportunity to return. I have also been recognized by several professional organizations including CompTIA, Linux Professional Institute, and more recently, I acquired an Oklahoma State Department of Education Teaching Certificate in the areas of Mid-Level, Intermediate, and Advanced Mathematics.

I thrive in learning environments, and I am a productive worker. I am aligned to share my expertise and help potential contemporaries develop their skills especially in the science and mathematics based disciplines. I personally have worked with several disciplines in addition to mathematics and computer science within the halls of the local libraries.

I have spent much more than a year in educational settings including contracting at other Internet sites and working as a tutor in a mathematics laboratory. The method most frequently utilized in a laboratory/study hall environment is to allow the student to work homework problems and seek assistance when the material wasn't clear. Occasionally, it is also beneficial to engage the material in a more tactile manner. I am not adverse to using the Internet as an educational venue, but personal interaction is often a valuable piece of the puzzle and contributes to professional and whole person development.

Meetings at the library are an excellent venue to inspire learning, and the preparation required to attend a session at the library is also essential for the mental athletics necessary to becoming an asset within today's brain trust. There are resources available for performing research, and often there are rooms which may be reserved for discussion and lecture.

I look forward to working with you.

C,

C

During college, in operating system utilities, we used GNU C, and the book was based on ANSI C. Introduction to computer science I and software engineering both employed Java, computer science II and datastructures both employed C++. I was introduced to Pascal and LISP among others during programming languages and compilers. I also used inline assembly code in computer organization and architecture. While discharging the responsibilities of other gainful contracts, I have also worked with Authorware, CAD software, Visual Studio C/C++/Basic and recently .Net as well as written assemble code for Pentium based architectures.
C++,

C++

I have written software using various flavors of C++ for the better part of the last fifteen years. During that time, I contributed to database management system resources, computer based training development, network administration controls, and compiler development in C++. Because they are widely available and standardized, Visual Studio as well as Linux/UNIX implementations have been among the most popular with my students, although I have worked with many implementations of the C++ standard libraries since version 14882:1998. The methods I employ involve an engineer's approach to problem specification and often require access to a laptop or desktop, compiler configuration, and documentation for the standard libraries.
Computer Programming,

Computer Programming

I have been writing computer software for more than twenty years, and I have participated in team programming competitions with success on more than one occasion. While in college, I tutored contemporary computer science students with a great deal of success, often inspiring my contemporaries to greatness. Methods I employ involve flowcharts, use case analysis, and debugging/tracing techniques as well as mathematical analysis and correctness proofs. Additionally, my computer technician certifications allow me to install and administer the latest in development software and provide deep insight into deciphering compiler errors and configuration management.
Computer Science,

Computer Science

I completed a bachelor of science in computer science in 2004. Even while in college I worked within teams and lead peers in developing software solutions in both academic and industrial settings. Since college I have held positions as software analyst and lead small groups of people working on medium size projects.
General Computer,

General Computer

General computer skills are an asset that is considered essential to productivity and communication in industry today. I have been a computer user for a majority of my life. I have successfully performed technical support for Windows, Linux and Macintosh users. I have also assisted countless computer users develop their skills with the various tools available on computers.
Linux,

Linux

Linux is a operating system which provides facilities such as multiple user access, multitasking and networking in addition to multiple forms of inter-process communication as well as per process multithreading similar to Bell Laboratory's UNIX operating system. I pursued and received CompTIA's Linux+ and LPI's LPIC-1 certification 30 July 2011. I can provide verification of those certification upon request. I have been an avid Linux user for more than ten years in industrial and academic settings.
Networking (Computer),

Networking (Computer)

I completed a bachelor of science in computer science concurrently with a bachelor of art in mathematics in 2004. Even while in college I was running cable for networks and configuring network equipment. Since then I have earned certificates from the Linux Professional Institute and CompTIA relating to my skills with computer hardware and networking technology.
UNIX,

UNIX

I was initially introduced to the UNIX operating system in 2000. The curriculum for the degrees I earned in 2004 relied on UNIX operating systems. During my professional career skills with UNIX were essential for enabling software development, analysis tasks, and even educational activities in classroom settings.

Humble spirit

Henry was verrrry patient with my daughter. The way he explained things to her made her more eager to learn. She wasn't feeling well this day, and wasn't the easiest to tune all attention in, but his patience, and humble spirit, got her to where she was willing to listen and go from there.

Very Patient

Today I had my first session with Henry and I was grateful for how prepared he was. I sent him my project specifications for a parsing program and he was up to speed very quickly. If you want a tutor who can explain difficult concepts in an intuitive manner, then Henry is a great choice for you. I got more out of a 1 hour session with him then I normally do in a week of classes.
