To sum up my personality: I love biology, and I am an avid supporter of sustainable living and conservation. My passion is to use my artistic talent & biological education to help change the future of our planet.
I am also an artist and have self published several adult coloring books and one includes educational facts about endangered animals. I am happy to say that this book on endangered animals has 1% of proceeds from sales to go to conservation in Africa. I would love to also offer help with illustration and drawing!
I have earned a B.S. in Biology, majority of education in ecology/ecological methods and zoological disciplines with emphasis on field biology.

Prepared museum specimens for the University of Central Oklahoma's Vertebrate Museum.
My art experience goes back to Paseo when I was a child where I had a private tutor. With him I learned watercolor painting and was even featured on the cover of a local magazine before the age of 10. I later went to Classen School of Advanced Studies from 6th-12th grade majoring in visual art. I attended Quartz Mountain Institute of The Arts from 2001-2005 during the summers where I received training from international artists.
I had competed in local and national contests throughout my younger years taking awards often for 1st place, and even received commendation from two Oklahoma Governor's. I have experience as a mural artist with painting among the staircase of Classen SAS and jointly with other artists at a local church. I further honed my painting and illustrative talents over time as I became a teenager and then later an adult. As an adult I have published several adult coloring books that sell on various online stores such as Amazon, Barnes & Noble, as well as locally at Full Circle Books. I have lectured on topics including botany, zoology, microbiology, evolution, and ecology in both a classroom and laboratory setting.

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
