Thank you for taking the time to read my WyzAnt profile. I look forward to sharing my experience as a teacher/tutor and hopefully someday providing you with excellent tutoring services.
I graduated summa cum laude from Youngstown State University in 1996 with a BSBA (Bachelor of Science in Business Administration) degree, majoring in accounting and minoring in economics. I have held and currently hold numerous Microsoft, Cisco, and other certifications in the information technology field.
My teaching philosophy encompasses three areas listed as follows: motivating the student, improving a student's self-confidence, and helping the student master the technical material.
My many years of experience range from teaching kindergarten students on how to run a computer to teaching US Marines how to implement a computer network. My experience also includes providing multimillion dollar companies with accounting and tax services as a senior accountant at a regional CPA firm. I have also provided business consulting and training services over the last 10+ years to businesses across the country.
Additionally I have a 13 year old son and coached a variety of his sports teams over the last 8 years including soccer, basketball, and baseball. In my spare time I run a nonprofit foundation in the local community.
I truly look forward to helping you meet your learning needs and if you have any questions at all please do not hesitate to ask.

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
