I am a licensed Math and Chemistry teacher, formerly Cornell chemical engineer doing what I love most - helping people of all ages achieve their academic goals. I'm an outdoors person and I love exploring nature. It's a beautiful thing to see how much of the world around us can be described using math. My faith is the number 1 priority in my life - "Seek first the Kingdom of God and all else will be given to you." I respect all faith traditions focusing on our common goals to better mankind.

I love inspiring people to use their creativity and intellect to achieve their potential, which will likely involve math somewhere along the road. I enjoy turning upside down preconceived notions that Math is "the evil enemy", it's just not your thing, it's boring or irrelevant. I meet every person where they are and help them get to where they want to go. No judgment. No criticism. I focus on the positive. I'm the coach who has your back. Working with me, you will achieve your goals faster and have more fun.

In my test prep sessions, I share with my students the tips and strategies that I helped me ace the ACT Math test. As a result, my students have improved their Math test scores as much as 40%.

I have experience writing math test questions for the major publishers, which gives me strong insight into the types of questions you can expect to see on your next test. My Masters degree in Business (Finance & Accounting) allows me to better prepare and mentor students who want to pursue a career in business.

Roman has been an incredible help to my college son taking precalculus. Roman is knowledgeable and patient. He has an innate ability to get to know his students not just as a learner but as a person as well. Roman prepares for each session, comes up with examples to work through and makes sure the learner is confident in completing assignments and well prepared for tests. My daughter was 6 weeks into 11th grade Honors Pre Calculus on a hybrid basis after finishing out the previous school year virtually due to our school districts respond to covid-19. My daughter was feeling overwhelmed, behind and lost. Roman offered assistance while my daughter worked through her current assignment(s) and he gave support, explanations and short cuts when she would get stuck. Romans delivery was clear and he made sure that the subject matter was understood and absorbed. Together they made 6 pages of notes that refreshed my daughter, helped her get back on track and regain some confidence and understanding of the material.
