Hi, I’m Brad! I received my undergraduate degree in Information Technology and my MBA from the University of Cincinnati. After completing my undergraduate degree, I liked being on-campus so much that I took a job as a Systems Administrator with the university. While in this role, I was presented with the opportunity of a lifetime to teach as an adjunct assistant professor for both professional development and IT courses. I always strive to make my classes engaging and conversational. I believe learning is a two-way street where I have the opportunity to learn from my students as they learn from me. I approach teaching by sharing experiences that connect the topic at hand with a situation in the real world. I create all of my lesson plans from scratch to ensure they are tailored to the student’s current level of understanding and take into account their individual learning process. I also provide examples and practice material to ensure students have an opportunity to test their skills outside of the classroom or meeting session.

I have taught as an adjunct assistant professor for the past five years in both professional development and Information Technology. My professional development areas of focus included resume building, interview skills, workplace etiquette, and university specific co-op policies and procedures. In IT, I have taught courses on systems administration using both Windows and Linux, scripting, history of computing, networking, and the cloud. Outside of teaching, I work as a Systems Engineering maintaining and deploying Linux and Windows systems in cloud environments, automation via scripting, network design, and virtualization.

I am excited to have the opportunity to share some of my experience with you to help you become an IT professional in our fast-paced technology world! Please feel free to reach out to learn more or to schedule a lesson. Talk to you soon!
