I am a current second year medical student at the University of Toledo College of Medicine and Life Sciences. I graduated with my Bachelor's in Biology and recently graduated with my Master's in Biomedical Sciences. It was here that I learned of the importance the educator has in determining the success of the student.

I am a current second year medical student at the University of Toledo College of Medicine and Life Sciences. I graduated with my Bachelor's in Biology and recently graduated with my Master's in Biomedical Sciences. It was here that I learned of the importance the educator has in determining the success of the student.

My most adored professor was one who engaged the classroom with every chance and emphasized the application of the material in order to truly understand what was being taught. I use these methods in my own learning and would like to pass these on to you the learner! This includes learning more about you the student and how you best understand information. Whether it be visual, auditory, or tactile, the goal is to cater each lesson to how you best comprehend.

Most of my tutoring experience comes from volunteering in a workshop teaching high school students on the inner workings of DNA and DNA analysis. I did this program for one year where I traveled to different how schools and taught the students how to perform PCR and explained how it worked. I enjoyed working with students who had a passion to learn.

But even more so, I loved instilling a new passion for the material in students who were not previously interested! I truly enjoy all things natural sciences including Biology, Anatomy, Physiology and Biochemistry. My Master's Program focused on Biochemistry, Genetics, Anatomy and pathophysiology (how a disease affects the inner workings of the body), so any of these subjects are my specialty. Please feel free to contact with any further questions!

Very knowledgeable w/ pathophysiology

I am a BSN student and is required to take pathophysiology at a cellular level, this was a subject that I struggled and I didn't really know how to approach it. I take NCLEX-style questions for this type of material and I did not do well with my first exam. I found Danielle, and she was great, she has helpful tips, techniques, she is very knowledgeable with her material. I contacted her only about 5 days before my exam, we had 3 sections, and she helped me raise my grade 20-points from my last exam. Danielle simplifies the material and breaks it down the easiest way possible. Overall a very pleasant experience I will definitely keep contacting her for my future exams.

An awesome tutor!

Danielle is a great tutor and an awesome teacher. She is so kind, professional and patient. She really has helped my daughter a lot. She is not only a great instructor but a really great listener who offers intelligent feedback, explanations and guidance. She is very gifted and we are so happy we found her.

Great teacher

Danielle is very knowledgeable and pleasant, she is always willing to explain any question or concept. Despite her own workload she works hard to be able to help me!

Knows her biology

I found Danielle for my daughter, who is a student at U of Toledo. We have traditionally had problems finding tutors who know the material thoroughly, but she says that has not been a problem with Danielle. She and Danielle work together to figure out what to cover each session, and she's optimistic that her bio grade is on its way up. Danielle has been easy to schedule, and she shows up--two factors we do not take for granted. Very glad we found her!
