I have my Masters in Political Science from Miami University in Ohio, have worked as a tutor/Pre-K teacher for Catholic schools, created curriculum for summer enrichment programs, and worked as a TA helping college students excel in writing, research, and reading comprehension. Altogether about 4 years of experience in and around education. My career has taken me from local government to academia to corporate America and I believe that lifelong learning skills will serve anyone throughout the course of their life in whatever path they choose.

My SAT and GRE Verbal/Writing scores were in the 90th percentile and my American History AP test was a 5. More importantly, though, I was also a student that struggled. I had undiagnosed ADHD and struggled with finishing assignments, self-doubt, bridging the gap between being a 'bright' student and the unique challenges of learning disorder that went undiagnosed until I was well into my professional career. I have spent two years taking specific ADHD coaching lessons to better understand and excel in every area of life. The compassion and practical methods I learned I am more than happy to share as we work to find a personalized and encouraging plan-taking into account individualized needs. 

Social Studies, Political Science, History, English, Film/Literature, or more general skills are the areas in which I believe I can help students the most. I can help you break down your writing and research in very doable steps and would love to pass on my learning is fun/knowledge is power life philosophy!
