I am a native speaker, and I have more than 10 years of experience teaching Italian at the college level. I love teaching, and I have always communicated this passion on to my students. Thanks to my experience I can easily anticipate problems that an English native speaker can encounter when learning Italian. The success of my students is my success, and I strive to create a fun, interactive environment in my lessons.

We absolutely love Anna as our tutor!!! She shows us much grace but is always propelling us forward in our learning. We are so grateful for the flexibility she grants when we meet, like when we've shown up late or if two of my children are under the table during a lesson. We couldn't have prayed for a better tutor to teach us Italian!!!
I feel so very fortunate to be working with Anna. She is helping me to become less self-conscious about speaking Italian. Her patience and encouragement are just what I needed. Best of all, she is a native speaker!
In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
