I hold two Master's Degrees - One in Nineteenth Century Studies (essentially, English and History), and one in Education. I have experience working with students from a wide range of economic and academic backgrounds. I graduated from Cleveland State University's MUST (Master of Urban Secondary Teaching) Program in the Summer of 2012, and I am very comfortable adjusting my teaching strategies in order to serve students of diverse backgrounds. I like to approach learning with humor and incisive evaluation of progress. Don't hesitate to contact me for help with writing, grammar, test preparation, algebra, geometry, or history.

Rob and my son Max have been working together for a little over a year. He has recently converted us over to Wyzant. I have seen a great improvement in my son's writing skills and grammar. Rob has been very patient with Max and has pushed him to be a better student. I highly recommend Rob as a tutor.
In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
