I'm 55 years old and I usually teach at the college and high school level. I have experience teaching writing, logic and literature courses. I've also developed learning modules and courses for general instruction. In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
I have been a minister for nearly 30 years. I enjoy teaching relatable subject matter that can have real world applications, such as Biblical finance and healthy lifestyles. I also enjoy tying my lessons to current events to give the material a modern perspective.
