About Christopher

I work as a professional Chef for Market District, but enjoy volunteering with G.E.D. and English students to help them achieve their goals and dreams. Past experiences includes A.B.L.E. of Ohio tutoring and training, as well as Cleveland's Seeds of Literacy. I'm also a published fiction writer and blogger with a degree in Magazine Journalism from Kent State University.

Patience and the ability to understand the hardships of life and being a student, even as an adult. I'm proficient at public speaking and have held author readings throughout the United States and in Ohio.

Feel free to drop a line if you think we're a good match or if you're in my tutoring radius. :)

Approved subjects

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
