Hi, I'm Jason! I've always pushed my educational boundaries far beyond the average limit. I attended a technical vocational high school that offered an Aerospace Technologies program. I was 13th in my graduating class with a 5.45/4.0 GPA. Hi, I'm Jason! I've always pushed my educational boundaries far beyond the average limit. I attended a technical vocational high school that offered an Aerospace Technologies program. I was 13th in my graduating class with a 5.45/4.0 GPA. I continued that tradition of exceeding expectations by first obtaining my Bachelor of Science in Aerospace Engineering with 171 total credit hours and minoring in Mathematics, Computer Science, and Aerospace Electronics. I did this while working in the Physics Department as an undergraduate Chemistry Lab assistant. This lead me to an amazing opportunity to pursue my Master of Aerospace Engineering degree while working as a Chemistry Lab Instructor and Physics Department Tutoring Center Supervisor.

I tutored alongside those whom I supervised because I very much enjoyed watching the metaphorical lightbulb illuminate inside the minds of those whom I helped when they connected with the material. Often times, students find it difficult to connect what they are learning with something that they already understand or are passionate about. Finding that connection is what has made me so successful in helping my students and colleagues understand the material in more than a theoretical sense and have even found enjoyment in the subject. Helping others find a connection, gain a deeper understanding, and find enjoyment in their studies is what I am passionate about.

I've always enjoyed math. I competed in Mu Alpha Theta (Math League) in high school in Trigonometry, Algebra, and Calculus, winning a combined 16 individual and team trophies from regional and national competitions. I obtained a minor in Mathematics as one of my 3 minors completed during my undergraduate program. Math is also apart of my life everyday in my engineering career.

As a Physics Tutoring Center Supervisor, Tutor, Graduate Chemistry Lab Instructor, and Chemistry Lab Assistant in my college years and full time engineer, I have nearly 15 years of combined education and experience in many science subjects. I've taught chemistry, tutored chemistry and physics both in school and privately, and have worked heavily in fluid dynamics, physics, and thermodynamics in my engineering career.

Whether you are struggling with an entire course or subject, missing a connection with one topic, or looking for an overall deeper understanding, I strongly encourage you to contact me and find out how I can help you!
