I'm a digital media and traditional art specialist with a wide range of experience. I went to The Art Institute of Pittsburgh for digital media production and have worked professionally as an artist for over seven years.
I taught a digital video and editing course at a summer study at Penn State program. The primary groups were high school students ages 15-18. I have also taught multiple workshops in Pittsburgh at the middle school level. One of those workshops was an intro into Adobe After effects and the other was a design marketing workshop.
My mix of technical ability and creative intuition makes for a great teaching environment. I enjoy spreading my knowledge and passion for the arts so that others have the means to express themselves and develop skills for a professional path in traditional and digital media.
I am proficient In a wide range of software. This includes editing programs such as Premiere and Final Cut X. I also have advanced skills with graphic and effects software like After Effects, Motion 5, Photoshop, illustrator and Cinema 4D.
If audio is your need, we can cover Pro Tools, Audition, and Reason as well as microphone placement and recording techniques.
If traditional art skills and knowledge is what you seek, I can teach a wide range of mediums and principals. This includes but is not limited to color theory, perspective, drawing, airbrushing, design principals, sculpting, abstract art, surrealism, and all around creativity.

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.

I have taken multiple drawing courses, including: perspective, still life, rendering and anatomy. I have worked with many mediums and concepts over more than ten years in an academic and professional setting.
I have worked with both PC And Mac based computer systems for many years. I have experience in many levels with the programs that operate in both systems.
As part of my education at the Art Institute of Pittsburgh, graphic design was a large part of my Digital Media Production degree.
Courses ranged from design principles and theory to the technical aspects of programs used to design. My professional experience is around seven years.
I have technical knowledge in Adobe Photoshop, illustrator, and Corel Draw. I also experienced in freehand designing and using a drawing tablet.
I worked as an airbrush artist for seven years. I had airbrushing courses in high school as well as college. My experience extends into more traditional painting techniques as well. This also includes color theory and style studies.
