Jacksonville State University (Dietetics)
Hello there! My name is Juan. I went to Jacksonville State University and graduated with a Bachelors of Science degree in Family and Consumer Science. My concentration was in Dietetics. I am a Nutrition and Dietetic Technician, Registered and hold a ServSafe Certification. I hope to earn my personal training certification in the next 2 months to add on to my resume. I am a culture enthusiast and hope to become trilingual here soon. I am currently learning Italian with my Italian friends in exchange for my English or Spanish.
Honestly I've never tutored, but I have unofficially helped others. I would be glad to help you understand nutrition, the human body, and fitness principles as these are my passion. I feel confident in my communication skills and hope that I can make you confident in your subject. I may also tutor all this in Spanish! English and Spanish are my first languages. I know how it is to feel frustrated with learning a language and/or learning all these subjects. I hope to give you the easier route!
I completed an Associates degree in General Sciences along with my Bachelors. This includes 2 biology courses, 2 anatomy and physiology, 2 organic chemistry, nutrition in the life cycle, medical nutrition therapy, advance nutrition metabolism.
I hold a Nutrition and Dietetic Tech Registration that requires a strong knowledge for the interaction of nutrition in the human body.
I am a Spanish native speaker. As an American, I also have a Latin culture background that I grew with. I can read, write, and speak Spanish proficiently. This question to me is almost like you being asked for your qualifications in English. Well, no I am not an English major but me and you know English :)
I feel confident in my communication skills and enthusiastic, opposite of boring. I know that we can have an enjoyable time learning together. As I always say, sometimes I will find the most funny analogies to help you understand something, they will be so unique, you won't forget it on the exam! Hello there! My name is Juan. In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
I have a Bachelor's Degree from accredited program in Dietetics (Nutrition). I even hold a Dietetic Technician, Registration. DTR's must have strong background in human anatomy and physiology and the interaction with nutrition to hold this credential. I have never officially tutored anyone but have tutored friends before.
