I have worked for Arthur Andersen and managed finances for several of the wealthiest families in Ohio. In the 70's and 80's I traveled extensively for business putting on over 100,000 a year.

I had extensive math training as an undergraduate and graduate student. I took many courses at Ohio State in the following areas.........Calculus through advanced calculus, linear algebra, number theory, statistics, regression analysis and linear programming. I loved math and I enjoyed helping my children when they were growing up. I even helped my daughter who was an engineering major at Ohio State with some math problems. She was amazed that could help her.

I am an inactive CPA. I passed my CPA exam the first time with very little academic background. I taught college level accounting as an adjunct instructor. I had a minor in economics and I took a number of undergraduate and graduate level economics courses.

I have successfully completed many Math courses ranging from Algebra to Advanced Calculus, Number Theory, Linear Algebra, Mathematical Economics. I received A's in each of the courses. I have found there are a multitude of ways to solve problems so that if a student is having a difficult time using one method, I will explain another approach in solving the problem. I also, try to highlight many applications that has some relevance to the student. For example, I like to provide examples in the areas of football, baseball, and basketball. I like to show that Algebra is more than just solving equations. I have also taught at The Ohio State University, Franklin University, University of Cincinnati, and Columbus State University.
