I am a Physics graduate currently researching Stellar Astrophysics. I did my undergrad in Astronomy & Physics with Honors in Math and Physics at The Ohio State University. My passion for teaching students started when I first worked as a teaching assistant. I found it rewarding as not only could I help others come to enjoy the subjects I love, but I could brush up on my foundations. Whenever I write research papers, I often need to recall elementary and intermediate level physics, which I learned 3-4 years ago. So by tutoring students keeps me on my toes. Mathematics is the language of Physics. It's crucial to have a strong foundation in Math to understand Physics. So I work with Math and Physics on a daily basis. I have been tutoring in my free time for over four years and find it both rewarding and enjoyable.

My highest Math education is Honors Linear Algebra and Differential Equations. I have four years of experience tutoring students in AP Calculus, Algebra, Pre-Calculus, and Common Core. I have taught high school students as well as college students. Apart from teaching students the correct way to solve a problem, I also teach shortcut methods that help save time. These methods will be beneficial in standardized tests where time is limited. For Physics, I tutor AP Physics and high-school physics. Physics mainly consists of thinking out of the box and creative thinking. There are many ways to solve a problem, and I teach students all the different approaches to solving it. As a teaching assistant for Honors Physics in my university, I have helped students increase their test scores by 13%. After 3-4 sessions, I have students solve tests to assess their understanding of the subject. After getting an idea of the student's strengths and weaknesses, I help them where they might need improvement.
