I have my American Sign Language Interpreting degree from Columbus State Community College, Columbus, Ohio. I graduated with honors. I have been working as a professional interpreter since June, 2001. I have worked in a variety of settings in the community such as education, business and medical. I currently work at a medical center; I specialize in medical, mental health and addiction services interpreting. I was in involved with the Deaf Off Drugs and Alcohol Project, as an interpreter for chemical dependency settings.
I love the language, I have had extensive training regarding the language, culture and the Deaf Community.

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
I graduated from the ITP program at Columbus State Community College in 2001. I currently work as an ASL interpreter at Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center in Columbus, Ohio, as a medical interpreter. I specialize in medical interpreting , mental health & drug and alcohol rehab settings. I was involved with the DODA project , Deaf off Drugs & Alcohol.
