About Kenneth

After earning a Bachelor's degree in mathematics education, I taught high school algebra and trigonometry for three years. While earning a Master's degree in statistics, I lectured an introductory undergraduate course for five consecutive terms and helped students complete their assignments during office hours. I would love to help you or your child succeed more fully in mathematics or statistics! Approved subjects

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.

Algebra 2

I taught Algebra 2 full time for three years at a private high school. This involved creating brand-new presentations based on the textbook, designing and grading practice assignments and assessments, and answering student questions about the material in large groups and one-on-one settings.

Logic

I earned an A in Honors Logic in my undergraduate program. I also earned an A in Intro to Advanced Mathematics, which was essentially a course in mathematical logic. In addition, many of the assignments in my MS in Statistics program required me to write logical proofs, which I did successfully. I can provide documentation for these claims if needed.

Precalculus

Many of the topics typically included in Precalculus overlap with Algebra 2, which I taught full time for three years at a private high school. This involved creating brand-new presentations based on the textbook, designing and grading practice assignments and assessments, and answering student questions about the material in large groups and one-on-one settings.

Probability

Nearly all of the courses I took while earning my master's degree in statistics required deep understanding of probability. Additionally, I lectured an introductory statistics course for five terms in a row and helped students complete their assignments during office hours.

SAS

I earned satisfactory grades in two graduate level SAS courses. I used SAS to complete many of the assignments required to earn a MS in Statistics. I earned the SAS Certified Base Programmer for SAS 9 Credential. Finally, I am currently employed full time as a SAS programmer.

I would be happy to provide documentation for these claims.

Statistics

Nearly all of the courses I took while earning my master's degree in statistics required deep understanding of the subject. Additionally, I lectured an introductory statistics course for five terms in a row and helped students complete their assignments during office hours.

Trigonometry

Many Trigonometry topics appear in a typical Algebra 2 course, which I taught full time for three years at a private high school. This involved creating brand-new presentations based on the textbook, designing and grading practice assignments and assessments, and answering student questions about the material in large groups and one-on-one settings.

5 stars!

Working with Kenneth was an excellent experience, well worth my money! While the sheer volume of Kenneth's mathematical knowledge is highly impressive, most beneficial to his students is his ability to explain complex topics in a simple, easy to digest manner. He was very professional, patient, and I would not hesitate to recommend his services to anyone looking for help in STEM-related concepts.
