Hello! My name is Nathan, and I’m currently pursuing a PhD in Applied Mathematics at Ohio State University. I hold degrees in Advanced Mathematics and Physics with a minor in Data Science from Michigan State University. My education has given me a strong foundation in both theoretical and applied aspects of math and coding. I have long had a passion for teaching and have previously tutored high school math and served as a Teaching Assistant for Calculus 1 and 2 during my undergrad. In this role, I guided students through challenging foundational concepts, facilitated problem-solving sessions, and helped them build confidence in their mathematical abilities. Outside the classroom, I worked in the tutoring room, providing one-on-one and small-group support for those same courses. I also tutored calculus and Python privately, tailoring my lessons to meet individual needs.
Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of working with college students from diverse academic backgrounds, helping them master topics ranging from introductory calculus to advanced mathematics.
