One of my major accomplishments is that I received a National Science Teaching Award from the National Science Foundation. I also attended Baldwin Wallace College, Akron University and the University of Missouri, where I have taken many post graduate courses in statistics, algebra, chemistry, geology and some pre med courses in physiology and anatomy.
I love to teach and I am very excited about sharing my experiences. My favorite subjects are math, science, history and English. I am very excited about teaching and I hope this excitement will transfer to the student, which in turn learning will become a more positive experience. When teaching is fun learning will also become fun and exciting. Again, a good understanding of the fundamentals makes a perfect base for success in the future. By using my teaching methods, students can learn to conquer any subject and I am willing to share this information with them.

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
