For the past three years I have served as an ACT and SAT tutor, working especially hard to improve students scores. I have also worked with students on English and organizational skills for this time. My main goal as a tutor is to first strengthen a trusting relationship with students, trying my best to keep them focused on the lesson at hand. Everything I do in my instruction is purposeful and to the point, I do not assign busy-work assignments that will not strengthen students understanding...

For the past three years I have served as an ACT and SAT tutor, working especially hard to improve students scores. I have also worked with students on English and organizational skills for this time. My main goal as a tutor is to first strengthen a trusting relationship with students, trying my best to keep them focused on the lesson at hand. Everything I do in my instruction is purposeful and to the point, I do not assign busy-work assignments that will not strengthen students understanding of the English language.
While I do have extensive knowledge with standardized testing related to English, I also focus on English in regards to the classroom, as I am myself an English teacher. With my knowledge and passion for the subject, I can also tutor in regards to help with English, as well as help with any writing or other assignments.

I am an English teacher, who studied at The Ohio State University. Since my sophomore year of college I have specialized in ACT and SAT tutoring, as well as English tutoring, helping students to stay organized, improve scores, and develop their knowledge of the English language. Through building relationships with students, high expectations, and a fun demeanor, I convince students to give 100% effort into strengthening their skills with the English language.

Having started track and field at age 10 and having ran the sport for The Ohio State University I am an expert at mid-distance and distance running. I have competed at the sport for several years, as well as experienced many injuries. These injuries have taught me many preventative methods to help preserve the integrity of the body while training, and my experiences in college have given me expert insight into the needs for training.
