My name is Mr. Rob G. I have been educating children of varying ages for nearly a decade. Most of this experience has come teaching grades 4-7, but I have experience working with students as young as 7 and as old as 18. I have had vast experience teaching students with varying needs and abilities in whole group, small group, and one-on-one. I am licensed to teach Math, Social Studies, and Reading to grades 4-9 and have a master's degree in principalship. I have extensive practice in tutoring as a Lead Teacher for Canton City School's after-school program and have offered tutoring services to students from my own classrooms over the years.
My instruction is predicated upon several key components. I feel that with a command of multiplication facts, ability to apply mathematic vocabulary, and practice with problem solving, mathematical s can be mastered by all. I am willing to cater my instruction to the needs of the learner, and have found these avenues to be successful in building confidence and experience on using math in authentic and engaging ways. Please let me know how I can help you achieve your mathematical goals.
I have vast experience teaching individuals of varying ages in various different settings. I am flexible with my approach, diligent and focused on details, and determined to help others reach their goals. Ian proud to say that I have successfully aided students not feeling confident in math to become high achievers who believe in their ability to learn and apply mathematics.
I love reading nonfiction, especially when it involves history and geography. I love to have rich conversations about the past and about far away places and peoples. I will be determine, flexible, and prepared to help others learn about history and/or geography, be able to communicate about such topics, and become curious enough to learn more in the future.
Having nearly a decade of experience, I am energetic and aspire to make a students learning experience engaging and fun. I will be determine and focused upon your goals, and be striving for the learner to be confident, curious, and successful. My name is Mr. Rob G. In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
