I am currently a 2nd year doctoral student at Bowling Green State University in the IO Program. Although I feel I can help in many areas of psychology (e.g. research methods, learning), my expertise is in workplace dynamics. As a result of this, I have been exposed to much work in personality and social psychology, which often applies social phenomena to the work setting.
I learned a lot taking advanced placement psychology senior year, and during my undergraduate experience at Case Western Reserve University. There, I graduated summa cum laude and completed an honors thesis. Although I have little experience in data analysis, I may be able to walk students through the process and help them determine the appropriate method of analysis.
Most of my experience has come from teaching recitations. As mentioned, I found the best way to get students to engage with and understand material was to use real-world examples. For example, I might tell my students I like horror movies and would use that context to explain classical conditioning.
