Angela is an incredible tutor. My son truly enjoys working with her. She is patient and makes sure a concept is mastered before she moves on to something new. Her ability to break components down to a very basic level and then build it back up in really a testament to her teaching. I would highly recommend her to anyone in need of a tutor for their child.
What a wonderful review Angela wrote about how my son was excited about reading a book. This is so unlike him, however I can understand that, because the book is about Pirates, a subject he loves, he would be more interested. He really enjoys his tutor time with Angela and only looks forward to reading with her because of her patience. She is currently working on his fluency and comprehension. She truly adapts to his style of learning!
A great first session. Was on time and very well prepared. Alexander seemed very happy with her. Looking forward to next time. Thank you.
In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
