Cleveland State University (Physics)
I'm currently attending Cleveland State University finishing up on my physics degree. I love working and educating children about the wonders of math and science. I've worked at a local daycare since I graduated high school and spent much of my time there tutoring students grades k-6 and also coming up with science curriculum to make learning fun and accessible.
While I lived in Chicago the past 2 years I worked a k-8 school where I also spent a majority of my time tutoring and coaching their science Olympiad team. I find that students often get really frustrated when presented with a difficult math problems and tend to freeze up. I work with them to stop and really think about it before tackling the problem. I like to explore different ways to solve problems because no one way works for everyone.
If something isn't working, I will adapt and change the point of view from which I'm presenting the problem. I'm a big advocate of math and science education and nothing is more satisfying than seeing something "click" in a students mind. Please contact me with any questions and/or concerns.

I work at a daycare where I often help elementary age children with their homework whether it be math or any other subject. I'm a current physics major so I have plenty of experience in taking and applying math. I spend my summers tutoring 2 8th graders in Math as well.
