Ohio University (Spanish Education)
I have four years of teaching experience. I have taught Spanish to students of all ages! It is my goal to help you learn Spanish in whatever way you are most comfortable and to make it an enjoyable experience for you.
It is my experience that learning to speak Spanish can be so much fun and a truly rewarding experience. I began learning the language when I was in 8th grade. I continued to take Spanish until I was at an AP (advanced) level in my senior year of high school. It was at this time that I started to tutor other students my age who struggled with the language. That experience revealed to me my love of helping other people be successful at and enjoy learning Spanish!
I went on to study more Spanish at Ohio University. It is there that I decided to study abroad in Mexico. I would love to tell you all about my travels there and how much I was able to learn while being surrounded by the language - the world truly was my classroom!
Through all my years of studying and teaching, I am still hungry to learn more and to share what I have learned with other people. Whether you would like to become fluent in the language, understand and appreciate the perspectives and practices of other cultures, fine tune your grammar skills (conjugation, verb tenses, subjects, sentence structure), learn unique and authentic recipes, or expand your vocabulary repertoire, I can and would love to help you achieve it!
Years of Spanish study both inside (high school, college) and outside (my own personal study and study abroad experiences) of the classroom, a passion for lifelong learning and four+ years of teaching experience qualify me to be the best Spanish tutor I can be!
If you are interested in becoming a fluent Spanish speaker, in upping your conjugation abilities, perfecting your compilation of sentences, or would just like to learn how to order food at your favorite Mexican spot, please don't hesitate to contact me. I do this because I love it and because sharing my passion for Spanish gives me joy! I can't wait to meet you! I have four years of teaching experience. I have taught Spanish to students of all ages! It is my goal to help you learn Spanish in whatever way you are most comfortable and to make it an enjoyable experience for you.

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
