Penn State University (Mechanical Engineer)
Hello students! I'm Justin, a mechanical engineer right out of college and looking to teach you math, physics, and writing. You should hire me if you need a patient and kind tutor who will make sure you learn what you need to! I can teach anything from basic math to advanced calculus, along with most basic engineering courses and technical writing and communication. I'm great with kids too!
Over the years I've had plenty of tutoring experience. This experience has honed me into the tutor I am today. For 3 summers in high school I was a camp counselor for children ages 5-13. I developed a real appreciation for the needs of children of that age. I also had a tutor of my own that showed me what it takes to be an effective tutor. When I was a senior in high school I would stay after school to tutor a friend so he could pass math and stay on the football team. He went on to be an all-conference high school football player. After high school I went on to Penn State University to study engineering and tutored mathematics in my free time. All of this experience has honed my skills and will guarantee that practically anyone can learn from me. Knowledge is power! Hello students! I'm Justin, a mechanical engineer right out of college and looking to teach you math, physics, and writing. You should hire me if you need a patient and kind tutor
In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
I graduated from Penn State University with a BSME degree in May 2014. I graduated with a 3.11 GPA. Subjects of specialty include mechanics, thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, modeling of dynamic systems, and mechanical testing.
