About Stanley

My name is Stanley and I recently graduated from Manhattan College with a master's degree in Electrical Engineering. I studied Mathematics in college because I struggled with it in elementary school and the beginning of high school. It was the subject that would frustrate me the most. Because I used to struggle with Maths, I worked harder at it than any other subject, and that is when I became better at it. I have about three years of tutoring experience now, and I think my struggles with math help me understand what kids are going through. I helped my friends when they had a hard time in high school and college with this subject, and I think they really benefited from it. Previously I had been a substitute teacher at an elementary school, and I think that helped me become more comfortable with helping others. I can help with calculus, algebra, and elementary math as well as trigonometry. My name is Stanley and I recently graduated from Manhattan College with a master's degree in Electrical Engineering. Stanley took his time to ensure that concepts were clear before moving on to new ones; did not rush to move lesson along, instead his focus was on identifying challenging areas and addressing them
