Very patient and understandig

He provided me with an answer to all my questions and made clear any confusions I had. Will continue to work with him as he gave me a better understanding about material I couldn't understand in class.

Knowledgeable & Patient Tutor - Highly Recommended!!

Lawrence helped my son with an on-line Applied Calculus class held over the summer session, which means it was taught at an accelerated pace over a short amount of time. It was the final class needed to complete his degree in Marketing from Rochester Institute of Technology. Needless to say, it was a challenge. Lawrence was available for the duration of the course to meet in person or on-line. His knowledge of the material was spot on! Lawrence's passion for math provided the energy to keep plugging along. His patience to help my son was the key to the successful completion of the course. Many thanks to Lawrence to his commitment to see him through.

A Master at His Craft!

This is my fifth lesson with Mr. Lawrence. He is such a magnificent teacher with a kind heart! Mr. Lawrence continues to dazzle me with his expertise! He has an impressive amount of experience in MATLAB and you will learn so much from him, not just with the syntax, but also with the semantics, (because not all syntactically correct statements written in a program are semantically correct). I have learned an advantageous way to debug a program without having to use MATLAB's debugging interface, and it's made my computations so much more efficient. Also, proficiency in this [awesome] scripting language, requires a prodigious amount of Mathematics, and Mr. Lawrence possesses an astonishing wisdom in this study. For this lesson, Mr. Lawrence has provided extra material for further reading, and continues to be patient in explaining concepts that I do not understand (even when I get repetitive). Thank you Sir, for your passion in teaching students like me. I would not have gone far without your generosity and encouragement. I thank God that you have made yourself available to me. My fellow Wyzant students, when you choose Mr. Lawrence for your tutoring requirements, you will gain more success than when you first started!

A Brilliant Tutor

Lawrence is absolutely brilliant. His ability to explain difficult concepts is a rare skill. I highly recommend him. For high level math such as college level, Lawrence is well prepared to be of great assistance.

Insightful

Lawrence A. Provided me with information beyond my tutoring session, and helped me understand the why of what I was doing in Matlab and in the subject of computer science . Overall a Great tutor!

Knowledgeable and patient

Physics Mech 104, need to complete this SUNY/SNW required online course. As a senior, I need to keep the 3.81 GPA for grad school. I have a serious issue dealing with science courses. This professor is explaining so many terms that I did not understand. Prior to starting tutoring, I would just listen to the lecture and say, "What is the professor talking about?" Now I'm starting to understand and will do well in this class.
