Hello, my name is Harsh! I graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor’s Degree in Applied Economics & Management (Concentration in Finance) from Cornell University. I have experience tutoring middle school and high school students in Algebra 1, and have experience being a Teaching Assistant (TA) in Spreadsheet Modeling (Microsoft Excel) at Cornell for several semesters. I have always thoroughly enjoyed working with others, and am very passionate about helping others to succeed. I have found that I have been successful when working with students because I always try to make learning a pleasant experience. I also am very patient, understanding, and teach in an explicit manner. I am happy to adjust my tutoring style based on the subject and student’s individual needs.
I have always excelled in mathematics throughout my academic career. I am comfortable with it (especially Algebra) and am not easily discouraged when the material becomes complex. This has translated over well to when I have tutored students. Thus, I am confident I can provide helpful tutoring services to students in subjects like Algebra and with Microsoft Excel.
I hope to benefit the students I work with as much as possible. Any resources or suggestions students or parents can provide would be very helpful, and I would greatly appreciate them. I am very easy to reach and respond in a prompt and timely manner. Please feel free to contact me with any additional questions or to schedule a lesson!
