About Cedric

Throughout high school, I tutored students through a peer-tutoring program in which I primarily focused in teaching Algebra II/Trigonometry. Having taken courses up to Calculus I, I am also well-versed in Elementary Math, Pre-Algebra, and Algebra I. As a current student, I am able to provide tutees with a different perceptive on course content: student-to-student vs. teacher-to-student. All this said, I can help nurture a better understanding of mathematical concepts which will allow students to become confident to face any academic challenge

Recently, I graduated high school, 9th in my class, and earned an Honors Advanced Regents Diploma with special designations in Mathematics and Science. As a First-Year Spring Admit to Cornell University (Information Science major), I will begin my studies there in January 2017.

Having recently completed the college search and application process, I can also provide basic College Counseling: choosing colleges, writing college essays/supplements, and filling out the CommonApp!

Approved subjects are in bold.

Approved subjects

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
