In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
I taught Adobe Flash animations as part of my college course curriculum. This involved using the automation tool for placing objects on a path and transforming them with scale, transparency and rotation. My students also created libraries of images to show repetitive movements such as walking and running. We also created slide shows of still images to make a flash presentation.
I taught InDesign as part of my college course curriculum. We created bifold two sided brochures, a 10 plus page article for a magazine with pictures, captions and body text, as well as newsletters for the college campus and master pages and templates for a book layout.
