Initially, it is important to determine a child's individual learning style. Is he or she more comfortable with a traditional classroom method, or is a more creative approach to learning being called for? Engaging the child in the learning process creates more successful task completion. It is my goal as a teacher/tutor to create an atmosphere of learning as a positive experience. This approach also helps to create positive changes in social/emotional and behavioral areas as well. I have more than 25 years of teaching experience.
