Hi, I'm Cullin! I graduated magna cum laude from Case Western Reserve University, where I completed majors in physics and philosophy and a minor in German. My two majors have put me in a unique position to teach both quantitative and qualitative topics, and I often use one to illustrate the other. After college, I taught middle and high school math and science at a private school in Los Angeles, and then I taught high school math at a public school in Maryland. I am currently working on a PhD in philosophy at Binghamton University, where I focus on social and political theory and ethics. I am/have been a graduate teaching assistant for various philosophy courses, including topics such as law, justice, and medical ethics. I have plenty of online tutoring experience.

Outside of school, you would be most likely to find me hiking with my wife and dog or drinking coffee and reading a book. My dog's name is Winston, and he's a good boy. I tend to oscillate between research rabbit holes and physical activity, usually with some good food in between. In short, I like to explore, whether that means walking in a new direction, driving across the country, learning new exercises (currently kettlebell training), trying new food, or diving into new literature.

I have taught and/or tutored middle and high school math at public and private schools as well as online. I have experience teaching 6th grade math, AP calculus, and everything in between. I especially enjoy teaching Algebra 2, SAT/ACT math prep, and Trig/Pre-calc.

While completing my major in physics, I became so interested in the philosophy of physics (especially quantum mechanics) that I decided to complete a major in philosophy as well. The two enhance each other and will certainly help enhance your understanding of either.

I hope we can explore some academic topics together and do some genuine learning in the process!
