/Hofstra University (Mathematics)
Currently I am attending Hofstra University and I am in my senior year. I am pursuing a BS in Mathematics with a concentration in actuarial science and minoring in Finance and General Business. Over four years I have worked hard to maintain an overall GPA of 3.42 and a major GPA of 3.3. As a student at Hofstra I served two years as the president of the men's rugby team while playing for all four. I also am a standing member of the Actuarial Science club.

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
