Hi everyone! I am third year medical student at SUNY Upstate Medical University. I graduated from Binghamton University, with a degree in integrative neuroscience and chemistry in 2019. I was a tutor for the athletics department at Binghamton University for 4 years, where I provided 1-1 tutoring to student athletes in general chemistry, organic chemistry, and biochemistry. I also served as a peer mentor where I met weekly with freshmen athletes and helped them gain general study skills and become acclimated with the rigors of college classes. For the past 5 years I have also been privately tutoring both online and in-person for chemistry classes and MCAT preparation.
In terms of credentials, I received an A in all subjects that I tutor, had a 3.9 GPA in undergrad, and a 4.0 in medical school. I received a 35 on the ACT, 522 on the MCAT and a 249 on USMLE step 1.I won a tutor of the year award 2 years in a row at Binghamton, as well as the most hours tutored award. I am also a CRLA certified tutor and mentor
I am most passionate about tutoring all things Chemistry. I believe that every student can succeed given enough time and patience. I love out of the box thinking and devising new ways to explain difficult to grasp concepts. In my spare time I like to snowboard, play softball, read, and hang out with friends
