I strive to always introduce clear concrete understanding, while making the learning process fun and easy. With my tutoring I always work with the student to find what works best for them and what makes them unique. I then work to incorporate this into all the lessons and all the photos/art they create.
My knowledge and understanding of all techniques with art theory and the visualization process is thorough. Do you want to get better? Do you want to be a respected photographer/artist? You will need to understand not only the techniques, but the application of various visual cues you will need to make a successful image. I am able to make this easy to learn and understand. The main thing I introduce is the "awareness" factor. The techniques are presented in a simple and step by step instructions with mini lessons to make learning great fun while building these skills. I have a BFA in photography from Rochester Institute of Technology/ MFA from Cranbrook Academy of Art in Photography and Ceramics. I have completed all required graduate classes for a MA in Art History at CCNY. I have only my Thesis to complete. My education and lifetime experience allows me to present my students the true complete package, not just idle lessons.

All my lessons are not just blind lessons, but lessons created to find out what is unique in you! This is what you will need to be communicated for a great image and defines who you are as an artist. In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
