Approved subjects are in bold.

Approved subjects

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.

Basketball

I have played Basketball on the high school and college level. I coached for 5 years at the elementary school level. I continue to actively play.

Elementary (K-6th)

I am a certified by New York State and a tenured teacher of the Board of Education for the city of New York.

I have worked both in Private Schools and Public Schools, my last assignment was at PS 200 in Bensonhurst Brooklyn.

QuickBooks

As an Accountant I have both worked with Quickbooks and trained many assistants over the past 15 years. I believe I am more than qualified to tutor quick books.

Study Skills

As a New York State Certified teacher, and tenured in New York city School System with over 12 years of experience, I am more than qualified to teach study skills to students. I also have an MS in Education from City College.
