As a Fine Arts major, I am well rounded in studio art and can give advice and critique for any medium my client chooses.
I am very laid back and understanding, if you are struggling at any point or feel you are not advancing at the rate that you would like, you may let me know and i'll work to the best of my ability to make you successful in your craft. Feedback is always appreciated! Since I am fairly new to the tutoring/teaching scene, I do not have any real experience to show for myself. If requested, I may provide a portfolio of my work to ensure that you are being taught with quality. I believe that everyone is talented in their own way. There isn't one person in this world that isn't capable of becoming a decent artist, it just takes a lot of practice and concentration to hone your skills. I am an excellent candidate in helping you do just that. I am patient, helpful and thorough and my love and appreciation for the subject helps me to work passionately with my students.

I recommend each session to be a four hour duration. If you would like a shorter/longer lesson, then rates may change.
In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
As a student working towards my Bachelors in Fine Arts, I am experienced in the studio art field. I have been practicing art my entire life, including an AP art program in Highschool and highly competitive BFA program at my current college. The program requires a portfolio review, and only accepts select students who exceed artistically. I am an aspiring art teacher who enjoys teaching and helping people whenever they need it. I have done assistant teaching in both drawing and painting classes at my college, which required me to give feedback and helpful suggestions to students in need.
As an aspiring art teacher and Fine Arts college student, one of my preferred mediums is painting. I am a well rounded painter familiar with oil, acrylic and watercolor. I have done assistant teaching in this subject, and have an excellent understanding of the process of painting successfully. It would be exciting for me to teach such a subject that I feel passionately about.
