I have worked with over 400 students in preparation for the SAT and/or ACT, and have made progress with students who were struggling to score above 600 in Verbal and Math. It doesn't take me long to make them feel more confident and raise their scores. My interactive approach gives students the test practice they need to do well on the SAT and ACT. Success on standardized tests comes when students get used to answering the different types of test questions by completing practice tests with an experienced tutor who can explain how to read passages and narrow down answer choices.

Knowledgeable and Patient Tutor

Anne, has a great personality! She taught me great GRE tips and tricks in Verbal and Quant. I liked how well Anne explains the GRE content. She shared great resources with me and refreshed my memory about math problems I did way back in high school.

Very patient and listened well.

Writing skills to help improve my job. I write resolutions and she took the time to go over some suggestions as we went through them. I found it quite helpful and will hopefully meet with her again.

My experience with Anne

Anne has been helping my daughter prepare for the reading and writing sections of the SAT. During the first couple of sessions, she assessed my daughter's knowledge base and skill level and then tailored a plan to help her. She is very kind and extremely patient and encouraging and goes over every problem and concept thoroughly until understood. For practice tests, she always asks my daughter why she selected this particular option rather than the other 3 and she provides the proper rationale for why the key is the only correct option. I don't know what the result of the next exam will be, but I feel my daughter has learned quite a bit about how to tackle the SAT pitfalls and she now feels much more confident about the test.
