I specialize in standardized test preparation. Having prepared students for the SAT and ACT for so many years, I know the tests inside and out and have a proven lesson plan to help students gain the scores they want. I adapt the lesson plans based on the needs of each individual student. I also tutor all sections of both exams, providing complete preparation for the tests. I've had students who have achieved near-perfect scores on the SAT and ACT.

I've tutored high school Math for almost as long as the SAT and ACT. I specialize in Algebra 1, Algebra 2, Geometry, and Pre-Calculus. I work hard to explain Math concepts in the simplest and most straightforward way.

I have experience with many different standardized tests. For those applying to graduate school, I help prepare students for the GRE, GMAT, and LSAT.

One of the best things about tutoring is the amazing bonds I've made with students and their parents. I've often tutored multiple siblings in one family over several years, and it sometimes feels like I've become part of the family. That's an incredible feeling and why I continue to tutor.

I am very easy to reach and will reply quickly. I'm flexible with my schedule and provide both in-person and online tutoring, so I'm certain we can find a time that works for both of us.

Great Tutor

Jeff explained the “rules” of English to our son in a way a math mind could understand easily. He also reviewed the topics of math that the SATS would cover that our son hasn’t done in a period of time. Homework Assignments were not overwhelming but a fair amount of work that could easily be completed by our son. The assignments were reviewed at the start of each session. The assignments also became more targeted in the areas my son needed work in which I felt was time and money well spent. We were not wasting time in areas our son did not need to be focusing on. At the end my son was scoring near perfect 800 math and very high 600s English. With the fine tuning, teaching, practice, review and test strategies that Jeff provided I would say our sons score was raised an easy 200 points if he went in without these sessions. It was great to have one tutor handling both SAT sections and again the time became focused on his area of need. Very highly recommend !!
