I have always been fascinated by the sciences and am lucky to have had opportunities in the last 30 years to be an active part of laboratory teams working on many different types of programs. If I did not have a career in science, I am sure that I would have studied to be a teacher. I love working with students and participate in a couple of different special high school programs each year to encourage students to pursue a career in a STEM field.
I loved my time teaching Organic and Inorganic Chemistry and Physical Science at Niagara County Community College. It is very satisfying to see a student be challenged and then master concepts. Working one on one with a student is a more personal way of mentoring and sharing.
If you stump me with a question (and you might!) I'll let you know. But I will always do my own due diligence and research to make sure that your question is answered in a timely and concise fashion.

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
