I enjoy mentoring (teaching) and assisting individuals in their learning programs. Different subject areas can be challenging to different people. As long as there is an interest in learning, I will guide the individual to success. My expertise is in Math, Electrical Engineering, and Science.

The subject areas that I offer the most value in are Math and Electrical Engineering. My high school program included covering 3 years of Math in 2 years, and my 3 Math Regents test results were 100, 98, and 100. I earned a Bachelors' of Science in Electrical Engineering from Clarkson, and a Masters' in Electric Power Engineering from RPI, and have extensive industrial experience. My experience includes classroom training and one-on-one instruction. The classroom training was a formal, industrial setting. The one-on-one instruction was also mainly in a formal, industrial setting. Note that when the individual is interested in developing their skills, the setting is not crucial.

Some consider Math, Engineering, and Science to be mainly formulas and concepts to be memorized. My suggestion is that the different formulas and concepts should be considered tools to use. A carpenter has many tools, and learns to use them effectively to complete the task at hand. The formulas and concepts of Math, Engineering, and Science, are likewise tools to use to complete the task at hand.

My approach is to build upon the individuals' existing knowledge (foundation), and then develop additional skills.

I look forward to hearing from you, and helping you achieve success in your studies.
