Hi there! I graduated summa cum laude from Clarkson University with a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics. During my time at school I gained ample knowledge of math and mathematical sciences, as well as experience both studying math and teaching math. I had many opportunities to help my fellow students at school with their math homework, in addition to my experience working as a teaching assistant under various professors. Teaching is very satisfying to me, especially when I'm able to help my students get to that "aha" moment when everything clicks for them. Learning has always been an enjoyable experience for me, and I love giving others the opportunity to share that same enjoyment.

I had the privilege of taking many courses at school in various topics in math, in addition to some independent research experiences where I got the chance to apply that material. As such, I have good experience with many disciplines of math, from calculus, to probability, to the rigors of mathematical proof. My goal with students is not just to teach them how to memorize particular mathematical facts, but instead to give them an understanding of math itself. In other words, it's very important to me that I equip my students with the skill of being able to think through a problem, and not just remember how to get to the solution.

I want my students to enjoy the process of learning math and gain the skills they need to succeed in it. I'm easy to reach, and happy to be a resource for any student. Feel free to message me with any questions or schedule a lesson with me.

Computer Science

During my undergraduate degree I took numerous applied and theoretical computer science courses. On the theoretical side I took courses in numerical methods, algorithmic analysis and design, and quantum algorithms, which all involved mathematical analysis and implementation in a programming language (usually C++ or Python). On the applied side, I took courses in Java and C++, and I spend my day job as a data scientist specializing in R and Python.
